SECURITY SITE MANAGER

POSITION:
Site Manager

Reports to:
Operations Manager


Supervises:
Security Officers

Nature and Scope

The Site Manager is USI's representative responsible for overseeing, monitoring, and directing all aspects of the contract security force under the direction of the Field Operations Manager.

The Site Manager must have a good background in personnel management, planning and operations relative to the security services contract, law enforcement or physical security, and crisis management.

Issue Identification and Problem Solving - must quickly and accurately assess the seriousness and potential implications of events that come to his or her attention, make reasoned judgments about the viability of solutions, and take appropriate actions to contribute to a successful outcome.

Must be able to determine when incidents constitute an emergency for the client by evaluating the location and magnitude of the events as well as the proximity of staff, operations, and facilities.

Fact Gathering - must remain aware of, and be able to access, all potentially useful sources of information available that could be of assistance in resolving issues.

Escalation - must be able to quickly identify those to whom issues should be communicated and convey such information fully and accurately.

Knowledge of Security Operating Procedures - must remain current in his or her knowledge of the Standard Operating Procedures and must demonstrate a clear and sound understanding of all post orders, policies, and procedures.

Decision Making
- must be able to quickly assess the likely consequences of decisions and identify the salient factors and other considerations that support the course of action taken.

Duties and Accountabilities
Provide management, interface, direction, guidance, and supervision of all USI employees at the assigned locations.


Directs the security workforce ensuring services are provided in accordance with the performance requirements of the contract and company standard.

Maintain accountability for all contracted services and responsibilities at all assigned locations including assigned goals and objectives.


Ensure that all licenses and certifications required of all security personnel working on the account are up to date (CPR, First Aid, AED, security licenses, etc.).

Ensure client satisfaction by communicating with Operations Manager regarding scheduling, payroll, billing, and special events.


Assure all work schedules for regular and special assignments are designed to provide the service in the most effective and efficient manner possible.

Ensuring that overtime and non-billable hours are minimized.

Maintain contractually compliant master and operational schedules using Ehub.

Review all weekly time sheets and verify Ehub reflects the personnel and hours worked at the designated locations. Approve and forward time sheets when completed.


Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills: possess the ability to conceptualize and analyze problems, identify problems, and provide clear and concise solutions, both verbally and in writing; be self-motivated and possess and strong initiative and follow through ability.

Liaise with senior client officials, local, state, and federal law enforcement officials.

Prepare, produce & edit SOP's, Post Orders, Read Files, and documentation as required. Make sure all files are current.


Conduct unannounced inspections of designated locations as required by contract or assigned by Operations Manager and utilize the GuardTek Incident Reporting system to document those inspections.

Provide emergency response and operational support as required.


Prepare detailed and accurate reports on all aspects of the operations: employee evaluations, inspections & audits, serious incident reporting & investigations, financial reporting, trending, action plans.

Counsel, advise, motivate, and (when necessary) provide corrective action and/or positive reinforcement to personnel assigned to their designated locations.

Maintain the highest-level of moral, ethical, and professional demeanor, as well as personal standards.

Maintaining sound and effective labor relations with USI employees.


Developing, managing, and maintaining all services necessary to meet all local and national regulatory requirements, inclusive of applicable health and safety requirements.

Organizing and attend meetings and providing relevant analysis for operational services as directed.

Conduct investigations, complete detailed investigative reports and provide recommendations for avoidance of future incidents. Utilize GuardTek Incident Reporting system.


Must be able to work flexible hours outside of the normal working hours to facilitate and meet the goals/objectives of security operations and undertake other ad hoc assignments as necessary to meet the goals of SOC security operations and USI.
