Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Homemaker to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. As a Homemaker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.


Duties:

• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Implement behavior management techniques when necessary
• Lift and move heavy objects or assist clients with mobility challenges
• Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are respected at all times
• Administer patient care following established protocols
• Work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
• Monitor vital signs and report any abnormalities to healthcare professionals
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia
• Drive clients to appointments or outings while adhering to safety regulations
• Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

Skills:

• Proficient in behavior management strategies
• Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks as needed
• Experience in senior care services
• Knowledge of resident rights and advocacy principles
• Skilled in providing patient care with empathy and professionalism
• Ability to work effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum
• Competent in monitoring vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with dementia care practices
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and privacy standards

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
$ $15.69 per hour


Expected hours:
No more than 4 per week


Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
