Description

• Maintain good attendance and a positive work attitude.
• Have knowledge and understanding of all safety guidelines and specific safety hazards associated with position.

• Need basic understanding of materials used in process and how they are to be handled.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Understand Quality Standards and be able to make reasonable judgments and decisions regarding quality issues.

• Coil or stack all finished material including: labeling, maintaining counts, and placing materials in proper location by grade.
• Properly package and band all materials. Build skids, as required.
• Operate trim choppers and change film covers on film windup, as necessary.
• Perform routine quality inspections of material.
• Maintain clean work area throughout the work day.
• Assist On-Line Shear Operator and Coiler Operator or perform other duties, as assigned.
• Ability to operate circular saw, monorail crane, banding equipment, nail gun, trim choppers and knife.
• Ability to read tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
• Must keep tools and equipment in designated areas when not in use.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Group Leader or Production Supervisor.
