Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team.

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts.

This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.


Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, and turning.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine machine setup requirements.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications listed on the drawing or work order.
• Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and a coordinate measuring machine.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes throughout the shop.

Experience:

• Previous experience operating CNC machines, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Gcode and Mcode knowledge is greatly desirable.
• Proficiency in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines.
• Knowledge of CAM programming is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations is required.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work orders.

Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour
