    Description

    Senior UI Architect (ReactJS/React) (On-Site)

    Cognizant's Digital Engineering

    Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior UI Architect (ReactJS/React) with experience developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications. Our Developers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Our developers are agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we're doing wrong, so we can fix it, so we can improve on it. Above all, we judge success by the success of our team and the happiness of our customers.

    Location: Irving, TX (On-Site)

    **Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future**

    Responsibilities

    • and lead the project meetings with the customer.
    • develop, and test UI for mobile and web applications.
    • and development of features in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.
    • reusable code and libraries for future use.
    • translate user and business needs into functional frontend code.
    • experience in creating deployment packages, deployment on application server and configuration.
    • development methodologies and modern Continuous Integration techniques.

    Qualifications

    • years of software engineering experience primarily using ReactJS.
    • engineering and technical background with proven enterprise development experience using ReactJS and RESTful APIs.
    • understanding of JavaScript/Typescript, HTML5 and CSS.
    • using Redux, Web Workers and PWAs.
    • with continuous integration and build (CI/CD) process & tools.
    • ability to quickly understand functional requirements and technical concepts.
    • JS, HTML5, Responsive Web Design, analysis and design the web application architect.
    • of an SQL/ NoSQL (Oracle, SQL server, Cassandra - Preferable).
    • of SDLC and Agile development practices.
    • understanding of GUI design and implementation.
    • with TDD and familiarity with testing frameworks, ideally Jasmine, Karma and Selenium.
    • to mobile development via React Native an advantage.
    • portfolio an advantage.
    • in performance engineering.
