Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries.
A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers - providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies.
The Performance team delivers delicious food but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.
Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing components and/or software problems on PCs in a timely and cost efficient manner.Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Implements computer solutions that are cost-effective while maintaining an acceptable level of customer service.Demonstrates awareness of customer needs and perform job duties to effectively meet those needs.
Analyzes computer-related situations and make decisions which deal with variables in situation where standardization exists.
Performs needed upgrades on PC hardware and software programs.
Communicates with customers, vendors, and company personnel in a positive and proactive manner. Demonstrates accurate and effective oral and written communication skills with customers, coworkers, and the community.
Creates users on the network.
Restores files to users off of backups, as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diplomas/GED or Equivalent Experience
- 2 years in Information technology or related area
Preferred Qualifications
Associates/2-year technical: Information technology or related area
- 4 Years
