Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.

Analyzes monthly results with the intent of identifying trends and variances from plan and forecasted expectations. The role will provide accurate and timely information to management across all divisions, including commentary and recommendations where appropriate. The focus will be to continuously improve financial reporting & analysis and provide insight to key business leaders. Improve the financial reporting structure by leveraging available technologies will also be expected of this role.

Key areas of focus on a monthly basis will be operating expenses, including transportation costs, as well as sales and margin analysis.

Coordinates and participates in the development of the annual financial plan, as well as interim forecasts.

This will include driving processes and workflow, analysis of projections and spending to ensure consistency across departments and divisions, and deep dives where necessary to bring issues and insights to management.

Participates in the development of dynamic financial modeling to support key initiatives and analysis.

Identify risks, potential financial outcomes of various decision alternatives, and provide management with information and recommendations necessary to support key decisions.

An emphasis will be placed on the ability to identify and discover root cause relationships to support conclusions.

Provide financial support and NPV/IRR/Payback calculations for capital projects.

Other ad hoc requests as required by the CFO and management.

Including but not limited to; ad hoc financial analysis, scorecards, financial statements, forecasts and metrics as required to support business units, corporate requirements, Board of Director presentations, and reports to the senior leadership team.

Assist the CFO with data requirements related to annual insurance renewals.

Complies with safety and GMP requirements.


SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT

Responsible for incident investigations, job hazard analyses, risk assessments, inspections, training, employee involvement, and enforcement of workplace health and safety policies and requirements.

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES


Directly manages three employees that support the financial analysis and cost accounting functions for all divisions within NOW Health Group.

Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


Proven leadership skills are essential, as well as the ability to influence direct reports, peers, and senior executives with conviction and empathy.

Prior experience working with multiple divisions is desirable.

Strong analytical skills, critical strategic thinking, problem solving, and reasoning abilities are required.


A solid background in technology including Excel (advanced), business intelligence software, ERP, and other Microsoft 365 programs is also required.


Experience in a manufacturing environment, working with an ERP system, prior cost accounting experience, and a background working in a multi-divisional company are all highly desirable.


ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS


Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, integrate change smoothly, work in an organized manner; develop and prioritize effective goals and strategies; must have a tactful personality.


LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
