Job Overview:


The Shift Leader supports the team to create and maintain a positive culture that keeps our guests coming back for more Also, the Shift Leader will have clear communication, work ethic, and attention to detail that will provide a memorable eegee's experience for each guest and team member.

Also, must exemplify eegee's core values and mission Eat, Work, Grow company culture. The Shift Leader will guide the shift ensuring the team meets the guest needs.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Shift Leader will supervise and execute running an effective shift in the absence of Assistant or General Manager.
  • Must be flexible and assist team members in their jobs for the greater goal of achieving company expectations.
  • Familiar with our quality standards and to ensure team members are demonstrating the highest level of QSC through our established brand guidelines and procedures.
  • Operates largevolume cooking equipment such as ovens and/or deep fryers frequently.
  • Be an expert in assembling our food and making/mashing eegee's.
  • Prepares, washes, and cuts food to be cooked and served frequently.
  • Check the stock of products and ensure proper stock levels and rotation of product.
  • Multitasks by preparing several different orders at once, ensuring that all items are prepared in accordance with customer instructions consistently.
  • Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils the duration of the shift.
  • Any other responsibility that aligns with the role.
Knowledge, Skills and, Abilities (with or without accommodations)

  • Ability to be proficient in more than one area of responsibility and may not always work in the same job function or schedule each day.
  • Ability to be an eegee's batch master.
  • Able to utilize and be comfortable with our POS system, as well as BOH programs.
  • Ability to assist new team members during training.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of our menu and the ability to communicate our menu to our guests.
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Understanding of basic mathematics.
Physical Requirements (required with or without accommodation)

  • Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Work around hot equipment, oil, extreme cold (walkin freezer), loud noises for the duration of shift.
  • Must be able to move freely throughout the restaurant frequently to include enclosed and compact spaces.
  • Must be able to remain standing for the duration of shift, excluding breaks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds often, 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of hands, wrists, fingers, arms, legs, and bending at the waist (climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials) for the duration of shift.
  • Use of cognitive skills including, but not limited to, learning, remembering, focusing, categorizing, and integrating information for decision making, problemsolving, and comprehending for the duration of shift.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience.
  • Willingness to use personal phone to download necessary apps such as to clock in and out.
