Description

Responsibilities:

  • Managing critical financial documents and tasks, such as spreadsheets and invoices for OBCDC awarded grants, processing payroll through payroll vendors, and preparing cash flow with the Executive Director
  • Review bank balances weekly and submit them to the Executive Director
  • Keep files organized and accessible to the Executive Director & Deputy Director
  • Prepare monthly revenue and expense reports for the OBCDC Board of Directors
  • Review all invoices and check requests that have been approved and post them to the cash disbursement journal.
Review all invoices that are allocated to the grant that incurred the expenses.

  • Review the posting of all payments to ensure that they follow the approved budget lines
  • Provide updates on salaries for all contracts
  • Provide an update of OTPS for the grant contract balances.
  • Stamp all paid invoices and the date on which they were paid and place them in vendor folders
  • Post billings to granter/review payment received from granter that they reconcile
  • Place all backup documents in binders in which invoices are allocated
  • Post payroll and tax liabilities and allocate them to grants charged twice a month
  • Reconcile each bank account at the end of the month
  • Quarterly update of staff vacation time, sick time, and personal time off requests
  • Other duties assigned by your Direct Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in NYC MOCs systems and city contracts
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of workrelated experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and workshop facilitation skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Resourceful, teamoriented, flexible, outcomeoriented, creative, selfstarter
  • Computer literate and proficient with customer tracking systems

Job Type:

Pay:
$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
