_Position Summary_
We are seeking a qualified Land Development Purchasing Agent to join our team. In this position you will play a key role in managing the Division's land development operations. Additionally, you will ensure the Division achieves development goals and delivers finished lots in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities_**- Identifying new vendor opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing vendors
- Organizing estimates, takeoffs, plans and other relevant documentation
- Bidding, negotiating and awarding development contracts and change orders
- Preparing scopes of work
- Maintaining development budgets and schedules
- Effective planning and coordination with Construction and Project Management departments
- Regular communication with the field and frequent site visits to resolve conflicts in a timely manner
- Land development feasibility research
- Reviewing development plans and technical reports for accuracy
The tools for success
- Experience in land development purchasing and supervision is required
- A college degree in construction management, engineering or business and a demonstrated track record of managing budgets, schedules and vendor relationships is preferred.

Compensation_**- Base Salary: $70,000-$90,000
- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
- Bonus Type: Yearend Discretionary
