    Description


    VMware Administrator at SMX in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description VMware Administrator (3389)at SMX (United States SMX is seeking creative technical problem solvers who can design and develop solutions with our clients.

    We are looking for a VMware Engineer who has hands-on experience with using VMware vCenter, NSX, vMotion and ESXI hosts.

    This person will be closely collaborating with other Engineers and Architects to produce solutions in our customers environment. This position is remote supporting a Boston, MA based team.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    + Install, configure, and deploy VMware virtualization solutions following industry best practices + Monitor the health, performance, and utilization of NSX components using tools such as VMware vRealize Operations Manager + Optimize NSX configurations to ensure efficient resource utilization and maximum performance + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies + Collaborate with IT teams to design and architect VMware virtualization solutions based on business requirements + Work with architects and network engineers to design VMware NSX designs tailored to meet specific business requirements.


    • Manage VMware vCenter Server environments and ensure proper configuration of virtual infrastructure components Required Skills and Experience:
    + Dedication to innovative, sophisticated designs and collaborative problem-solving + Experience in planning and implementing designs in VMware + Extensive knowledge VMware vSphere, VMware ESXI, vCenter, NSX and other related products + Relevant VMware Certifications such as VCTA, VCP, VCDX, or VCDX-NV + Experience with Windows and Linux environments

    Desired Qualifications:
