Job Objective:


Develops and executes a business plan and sales strategy for Mirabel Hotel & Restaurant Group properties that ensures the attainment of company sales goals and profitability.


Key Areas of Accountability:


  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for each market that ensures attainment or exceeds company sales goals and profitability.
  • Responsible for meeting highend leisure sales goals/contacts and maintaining relationships with topproducing agencies.
  • Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Executes plans and evaluates the effectiveness of strategies continuously.
  • Acts as Sales Liaison representing the company on sales calls with Relais & Chateaux.
  • Responsible for proposing and meeting quarterly group and catering sales goals for all Mirabel outlets.
  • Initiates and coordinates the development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Develops a good local presence with area businesses and hotels to promote the catering and restaurant business and to ensure that our business is generally familiar and positively recognized.
  • Works with the Marketing Coordinator to ensure effective materials are produced for the attainment of sales goals.
  • Performs Site Inspections, attends agreedupon trade shows, and meets with booked clients onsite as needed /requested.
  • Provides timely feedback and goal performance to GM and C.E.O. regarding performance.
  • Manages and coordinates GourmetFest with owner, event planner for sponsorship sales, overall success.
  • Coordinates with a revenue manager to ensure groups and catering business is priced competitively and according to demand, and not underpriced to ensure maximum profit margin.
  • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and production/activity reports.
  • Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
  • Works with the Group Sales manager in the preparation of proposals, contracts and BEOs.
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Responds to guest complaints and resolves to guest's satisfaction by troubleshooting or directing guest complaints to the appropriate department head for prompt action.
  • Coordinates marketing and PR as needed to encourage local business and referrals.
