    Full time Pharmaceutical / Bio-tech
    Description

    We're looking for a Pharmacy Technician in Washington, DC!

    Description:

    • Help the Pharmacist in getting medications ready for patients
    • Carry out specific technical tasks to support pharmacy operations
    • Prepare different types of medications under the Pharmacist's supervision
    • Enter physician orders into the system and assist with medication requests
    • Monitor medication inventory and expiration dates, restocking as needed
    • Prepare IV admixtures and handle medication dispensing machines
    • Compound products in bulk or per order, and maintain inventory records

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    • 1 year of hospital experience required
    • 1 year of Oncology/Chemo experience required
    • DC Department of Health (DOH) registration required
    • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or equivalent certification
    • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and mathematics is a must
