The AWO-Ambulance is an established specialized practice for drug substitution therapy. The goal is to enable opiate-dependent people to live a normal and legal life again and to gradually lead them out of addiction. As an experienced multi-professional team of nursing professionals, specialist doctors, and social workers, we offer not only the dispensing of drug substitution substances such as methadone, but also addiction medicine consultations, as well as psychosocial counseling and specialist medical consultations. For selected patients, the diamorphine-assisted treatment is a special feature of our practice. We are open daily and always work as a team according to a staff-oriented schedule from 07:30-13:30 and 16:30-19:00. Clear rules ensure smooth processes. There is a close cooperation with other addiction support facilities.
