Seeking full-time skilled Handyman for a large high-end Hell's Kitchen condominium.A pleasant work environment, with great team and supervisor
Responsibilities & duties include:
General maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry work, repairing drywall, installing fixtures and porter work.
Knowledge of hand and power tools, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general repair techniques.
Conduct routine inspections to identify issues and ensure condominium is clean, safe and functional.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address emergencies.
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
General helpfulness to all residents, their guests, the Resident Manager, building porters and visiting contractors/service people.
Continuous communication with team, residents, Resident Manager and management.
A friendly, easy going demeanor with team player attitude for quality customer service is mandatory.
Attention to detail, with previous experience is required.
Hiring immediately for one shift:
Tuesday to Saturday 8am - 4pm.
Compensation is paid bi-weekly with a 40-hour work week. Overtime available.
Starting pay is $26 per hour with annual increases and a generous health insurance stipend after 3 months employment; plus year-end bonus and resident gratuities
Pay:
$55,000.00 per year
