What we are looking for:
Experienced Voltage Cable Technician for a full-time position and an apprentice willing to learn the trade.

Company van and fuel card will be provided.
Able to run low voltage wires & terminate.
Knowledge of working with conduit; pipe bending.
Able to install Intercoms, CCTV, Access Control, Network Infrastructure, and Audio and Video Systems
Specialty and heavy tools will be provided


Day-to-day responsibilities:

The work is to install low-voltage systems and build infrastructure for low-voltage systems at various locations based on the company's project locations; the project can last a few days/months and even longer.

Pay competitive for industry standards
The schedule is Monday to Friday we work flex time when possible and jobs allow.
Weekend availability is welcomed if needed.
Company Van is provided.
Must have a driver's license and a clean driving record

Background and past work experience will be checked and verified.

• Experience and Qualifications:
• Three plus years' experience installing and/or Burglar Alarm Systems, Security cameras, Access control with an understanding of electronics, wiring, local and national codes
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings
• Installing cable management (conduit, ladders, racks, jhooks, raceways)
• Pulling CAT6 cable in both retrofit and new construction environments
• Terminating RJ45 jacks and patch panels
• Installing network racks, rack accessories, and devices
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have or existing construction.
• Must have experience running ethernet wires and low voltage cable in multiple structural environments (drop ceilings, raceways, conduit, metal frames, wood frames, etc.'.)
• Experience using digital multimeters and testing network cables
• Experience troubleshooting network wiring issues
• Experience installing rack enclosures and rack devices, including cable management
• Experience working with floor plans and line diagrams
• Experience wiring for and installing access control systems is a requirement
• Experience wiring for and installing audio visual systems is a plus
• Experience core drilling and fire stopping is a plus
• Experience installing conduit, including cutting and bending is a plus
• Experience managing teams as a foreman or lead technician is a plus
• Experience running, splicing, and terminating Fiber is a plus
• Compensation:
• Salary range of $28 to $40 depending on experience.
• Weekly paychecks.
• Full health insurance package is included.
• Minimum of 24 years of experience in an installer/service support related environment, preferably in the field of security systems.
• While not required, a degree in Computer Electronics or Digital Electronics would be beneficial.
• Preferred certifications:
• OSHA 30 Certification, demonstrating knowledge of safety regulations and practices.
• Expertise in Motorola Avigilon, is a plus.
• S2/Lenel/indicating proficiency in specific access control

Systems is a plus

• Lift Certifications (Single or Boom), certifying the ability to operate lifts safely and effectively.
• Any CCTV Certification, highlighting expertise in closedcircuit television systems.
