This is a role for an experienced Swimming Pool Service Tech with 3+ years experience. This position will be a leadership position culturally within our company. We need a pool professional who wants to use their knowledge and experience to help cultivate a winning team of Pool Service Techs.

Essential Functions:


  • Primary responsibility is a goto resource for the Service team for operational standards, cultural assimilation, core values, and business technologies used to do the job.
  • Meet with customers to solve issues and provide solutions for their pool, manage elevated customer meetings with care and respect.
  • Assist trainers and managers with the department goals and objectives.
  • The Supervisor is responsible to prepare new pools or troubled pools to get ready for a route.
  • Support the service team with important department priorities.
  • Provide quality control checks at pools, perform followups, and complete CYA drains.
  • Covers routes as needed to ensure all customer pools are serviced weekly.
  • Perform the cleaning and water balance of swimming pools.
  • Empty skimmer baskets and pump baskets.
  • Scrub pool tiles, floors, and walls.
  • Net pool surface to clear out leaves and other debris.
  • Vacuum pool floors and stairs.
  • Clean and backwash pool filters.
  • Check all pool chemical levels and ensure proper pool chemistry at each pool.
  • Add chlorine, acid, and other chemicals to correct the water balance.
  • Visually inspect pool and advise any next steps to the client.
  • Check pool equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Drive the company vehicle to the customer's location.
  • Daily walk around and inspection of assigned company vehicle
  • Perform regular truck inspections and notify the mechanic of any issue that arises in realtime.
  • Maintain vehicle equipment, supplies, and chemical stock inventory levels.
  • Complete paperwork and reporting service requirements to management.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Competencies/Skills:


  • Strong understanding of pool equipment.
  • Strong understanding of programming from various brands such as Hayward, Pentair and Jandy.
  • Ability to work independently and to plan, organize, and schedule work.
  • Selfmotivating with the ability to work efficiently with little oversight.
  • Be willing to communicate and share knowledge and insight with customers tactfully and respectfully while presenting a professional image.
  • Maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with customers, supervisor, and team members.
  • Dedicated to meeting deadlines.

Must have valid driver's license, 3 years verifiable driving history and clean driving record:


  • Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with traffic laws. Understand and carry out written directions.
  • Physically, the position requires walking, standing, kneeling, bending over, and sitting for long periods in an outdoor environment. Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. throughout the day.

Education, Licensure and Experience Requirements:


  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • 3years pool service experience
  • Technical knowledge and experience in the pool industry.
  • Familiarity with the different manufacturers/brands of equipment such as Hayward, Pentair and Jandy.
  • Able to pass a preemployment background check, drug test, and motor vehicle report.

Must have valid driver's license, 3 years verifiable driving history and clean driving record.

  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or other pool certification a plus.

Compensation - This
salaried position is paid weekly. You will be provided paid on the job training and all the tools to be successful.
$59,800 annually
