- Develop curriculum and teach nursing principles and practices to RNs, LPNs, and non-licensed staff.
- Assess educational needs of staff and patients/clients, identifying areas of deficiency and ensuring compliance with government regulations.
- Collaborate with Nursing management to develop curricula and conduct research to obtain the most recent information about identified topics.
- Deliver curricula to targeted groups, providing both theoretical instruction and clinical experience.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of curricula through participation analysis, feedback, and written tests.
- Provide orientation and other educational programs to staff at all levels, including on Hospital units in real-time.
- Supervise learning experiences of staff in programs and act as a role model for professional behaviors.
- Participate in approved continuing education programs to enhance professional competence and share knowledge with other staff members.
- Prepare and submit required reports and maintain records of participants in educational programs.
- Protect the human and civil rights of patients/clients and staff.

- Implements, coordinates, and evaluates activities of assigned programs or health care services;
- Maintains active liaison with and serves as nursing consultant to other sections, divisions, health care providers and public;
- Assesses safety and quality of client care provided;
