To strengthen our team, we are looking for a qualified pedagogical specialist (m/f/d) as district manager for our outpatient youth services at our location in Neukölln, starting on March 1st, 2024, for 30 hours per week in a permanent position.


Our non-profit, intercultural organization LebensWelt has been active in child and youth services for 24 years and is located in the heart of Berlin.

Our services include social pedagogical family support, social group work, school social work, integration courses, integration support for children and youth, support for people with disabilities, supervised visitation, intensive social pedagogical individual care, childcare facilities, residential communities for young adults, and a youth recreation center.


Your responsibilities:

Leading, organizing, and developing the department in cooperation with both district managers
Coordinating and leading the professional team at the Neukölln location
Responsible for managing and organizing the location
Acquisition and coordination of case inquiries, professional supervision
Negotiating with district offices/youth welfare offices
Close cooperation with the district managers, management, senate administration, youth welfare offices, and cooperation partners
Representing the organization's interests in the district, public relations, participating in committees
Project selection
Administrative tasks
