Responsible for driving performance at the wash to meet or exceed monthly targets for sales, membership, customer service, and safety.

Day-to-day activities include training and supervising staff along with identifying and resolving customer concerns and complaints.

Responsible for ensuring equipment maintenance as well as organizational skills for the management of chemicals, wash supplies and labor.

Accountable for understanding and reviewing financial reports and creating actionable plans to drive performance above and beyond budget.


Leads marketing initiatives at the wash and the surrounding community to drive membership, revenue, promote fundraising opportunities and works closely with corporations to actively promote and activate business partnerships.


Fundamental Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Delivering the Pitstop Vibe and turning customers into raving fans of the wash even if the wash experience wasn't perfect.

Be able to make split second decisions to get involved, do the right thing, and turn a stressful situation into a calm one with productive communication.

It is your wash to run. Own it.

Sales:
Selling Memberships. This is CORE to who we are at Pitstop. You are the champion and owner of this initiative.

The skills to engage customers with a smile, explain benefits of membership and close the sale are your responsibility to infuse into every single employee of Personal Pitstop.


Leadership:

Training, hiring, mentoring a manager and associates that deliver the Pitstop experience on every level will enable you to be free to engage in activities that will directly lead to increased sales and performance.

Clean We're keen on the clean car scene Make sure all tasks are done to provide the customer with the cleanest car wash, the most immaculately clean bathroom and facility.

Equipment and Chemical Maintenance:
Delivering an immaculately clean car is your responsibility. Maintaining equipment and chemicals ensures this will happen.

Training:
We have a first-class training system and protocol. Ensuring the wash associates at your facility receive this training and execute on its contents is your responsibility. This includes constant feedback and investment of your time and energy. A well-trained staff is vital to a high performing location.

Financial Management:

Financials and key performance indicators are the reporting tools that inform you of whether your wash is meeting or exceeding budget and expectations.

You must understand these numbers, what drives them, and own them to create actionable plans to attain the objectives of the wash.


Marketing:

The corporate marketing department will drive overall Pitstop marketing strategies and work with you to design tactical plans for your market.

Your job is to execute and ACTIVATE these initiatives.

Local, grass-roots marketing is your responsibility, including developing relationships with businesses in your community and working with corporations to design partnerships.

Events will be held periodically at your facility, and you'll be responsible for their execution. Additionally, there will be times when you'll be responsible for assisting at off-site events, promoting the broader Pitstop Brand.

Safety:
Creating and mandating a culture of safety.

Education, training, feedback, and active management is required to ensure our associates have a safe environment in which to work.


Qualifications:
2-5+ years in a Car Wash/Retail/Restaurant/Hospitality type of management role

HS Diploma, higher education always a plus

Exemplary customer service and selling skills
