About The Role

What You'll Do

  • Accountable for reducing delinquency for client accounts to reduce company DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
  • Establish methodological process for continuously canvassing all aged AR and performing routine followups and checkins to ensure timely payments
  • Maintain meticulous notes and comments on all accounts via the system and various trackers
  • Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress
  • Proactively establish contact points with clients' Accounts Payable contact(s) and preemptively ensure access to billing systems is in place prior to invoicing
  • Identify and resolve technical issues preventing client payments (access to eBilling sites, vendor setups, etc.)
  • Collaborate with relationship managers where appropriate to facilitate client payments

What You Will Need To Succeed

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in collections
  • Working knowledge of MS Office including advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis; the employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas

  • Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures
  • Knowledge of various collection techniques
  • Strong attention to detail, goal oriented and organized
  • Able to establish sound processes and routines
  • Selfmotivated and able to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to remain focused and on task in a fastpaced environment
