Summary:

First and last impressions are critical to the success of any business.

This position in our boutique hotel will be responsible to ensure guests are greeted in a warm and welcoming manner, they are escorted to their desired location and as necessary their luggage is delivered to their guest room.

A fond farewell and invitation to return is key.


Responsibilities:


  • Greet guest in a warm and professional manner upon arrival to the hotel and thank them for their business upon departure.
  • Doors (hotel, cars, and the like) are opened and closed in a proactive and hospitable manner.
  • Explain features and benefits of the hotel and local area.
  • Utilize courtesy in taking control and ownership of guest vehicles.
  • At all times safely drive vehicles and ensure keys are safely secured according to operating procedures.
  • Transport guest luggage and belongings to various areas of the hotel.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment. Ensure immediate work area and associated parking area is well maintained and report any defects.
  • Report any and all incidents/accidents.
  • Arrange guest transportation as may be necessary.
  • Position will require extended lengths of time standing.
  • Present yourself in a professional manner at all times in a clean uniform and name tag.
  • Hotel operates 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.
