**CAREER OPPORTUNITY:**
Buyer Planner is responsible for acting as a liaison between the supply base and internal manufacturing operations. Responsible for the successful execution of all planning and procurement activities to allow on time delivery to our customers. Assists with complaints, orders, errors, account questions, billing, cancelations, and other queries as required.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Provide internal customers with supplier order status, requested documents, supplier shipping dates and tracking proactively and when additional requests are received
Work with the team to provide supplier quotations for sales inquiries for both potential and existing customers
Entry and coordination of supplier material returns, either associated with a complaint and/or a customer owned refill or repair
Engage with internal stakeholders such as Transportation, Manufacturing, Commercial, Marketing, Quality, Billing and Finance to support on time delivery of procured goods
Ensure high delivery service level to external and internal customers by proactively monitoring open orders and communicating delays. Where needed, follow up with internal stakeholders to achieve customer needs
Ensure high level of responsiveness to internal customers / suppliers to meet KPI targets set by the department
Consistently work within and evaluate MRP data to ensure the timely delivery of supplied materials supports the customer need date.
Support creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for procurement and planning functions.
Work to achieve maximum efficiency in a team environment and support peers when needed
Perform other related functions as assigned
Job Requirements **QUALIFICATIONS:**
Bachelors Degree in business management, logistics, engineering or at least 5 years of relative experience in procurement / planning / scheduling activities
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Syspro, etc.).
Good level of expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Visio)
Excellent Planning & Organizing Skills.
Excellent Communication/Interpersonal skills.

Analytical thinking.
Lean manufacturing experience / knowledge
