Description
Maintaining a physical presence at the LAEC front desk

  • Validate parking for Students, Clients, Therapists, and Employees
Organize and schedule appointments, maintain department/unit/personnel calendars

  • Collecting fee payments from clients, in person, via telephone, or through online processing
    Creating deposit packets for Counseling Center revenue
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports

Develop and maintain a filing system
Maintain office supplies and research new deals and suppliers

Maintain contact lists
Provide general support to students, employees, and visitors

Act as the point of contact for internal and external inquiries

Assists with events including graduation, new student orientation, etc.

  • Making deposits of Counseling Center revenue
  • Managing petty cash account(s)
  • Entering appointments and payments into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Uploading documents to clients' EMR files
  • Receiving and processing daily mail
  • Assisting with student / stakeholder ID's and campus parking
  • Digitizing paper files
  • Maintaining CalFam Therapist files on SharePoint
  • Assists CU instructors as able (e.g. room set up and technical assistance)
  • Schedules room requests both for CU classes and CalFam counseling appointments (using YaRooms).
  • Upkeep of the common areas, ensuring a clean and organized space.
  • Will open building on morning shift and/or close building on evening shift.
  • May be called on to visit building during offshift hours.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
  • Intermediate to advance level Microsoft Office (Windows, Word, Excel Outlook) and Internet
  • Experience working with money
  • Ability and experience in maintaining confidential information
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Professional demeanor
  • High level of integrity and ethics.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively to optimize time management
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to provide quality customer service to internal and external customers in a timely fashion
  • Critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and problemsolves contractrelated situations

Pay:
$18.00 per hour
