    About the Company:

    KIPP NYC Public Schools is a non-profit organization operating a network of 18 public charter schools in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. Committed to fostering a more just world, we collaborate with families and communities to establish engaging and rigorous educational environments. Our journey began in 1995 with the inception of KIPP Academy, our first middle school in the Bronx. Today, our network comprises eight elementary schools, nine middle schools, one high school, and KIPP Forward, a program supporting students and alumni in pursuing their educational and career aspirations. With over 11,000 students and alumni served, KIPP NYC continues to expand its impact.

    Position Overview:

    As the Recruitment Manager at KIPP NYC, you will be an integral part of our Recruitment Team, collaborating with leadership and staff to attract exceptional educators and professionals. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who can manage our high-volume recruitment efforts efficiently while also bringing creativity and resourcefulness to enhance our recruitment strategies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Full Cycle Recruiting:
      • Identify and attract diverse, high-quality candidates.
      • Conduct thorough application reviews and interviews.
      • Hire top talent efficiently for designated positions.
      • Develop relationships with potential candidates and promote a positive candidate experience.
      • Utilize data to track candidate progress and drive improvements.
    • Relationship Management:
      • Support school leaders throughout the recruitment process.
      • Establish effective relationships with school leaders and staff to align recruitment efforts with organizational needs.
      • Provide tools and guidance on recruitment best practices to ensure an equitable selection process.
    • Prospect Cultivation:
      • Implement innovative strategies to identify and engage potential candidates.
      • Build relationships with key individuals in the talent pool.
      • Represent KIPP NYC at various events in a professional manner.
      • Coordinate logistical aspects of recruitment events and campaigns.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous recruitment experience preferred.
    • Demonstrated proactive approach to responsibilities.
    • Passion for the mission of KIPP NYC.
    • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
    • Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
    • Familiarity with recruiting tools such as SmartRecruiters and Google Spreadsheet is a plus.
    • Interpersonal skills that contribute to a positive work environment.
    • Bachelor's degree required; Master's Degree preferred.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    KIPP NYC offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,340 to $92,700, with equitable compensation based on role level and function. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
