- Conduct research on a federal and city level.
- Research legal issues involving mortgage originations licensing.
- Reviewing of branch and individual accounts via NMLS or Consumer Access site to confirm transition request is withing corresponding state/ states guidelines.
- Daily assistance with inquires regarding licensing for new and retention of current licenses. Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant. Paralegal Certification and/or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience working with a real estate, mortgage, financial services or law firm handling residential mortgages, a plus.
- Must have experience working in high volume, deadline driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion with minimal supervision.
- Excellent technical skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT.
