The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District is looking for a dynamic and motivated leader to fill our Assistant Director of Facilities vacancy.

This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Facilities in the daily operation and coordination of the staff in the Facilities and Operations & Maintenance Department.

The work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Facilities with considerable leeway to use his/her independent judgment in planning and carrying out details of the work.

Supervision is exercised over the work of custodial, maintenance and grounds personnel and outside contractors in the school system by inspection, observation and review of reports, and through the annual evaluations of staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A) Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees with an Associate's Degree or higher-level degree in School Facilities Management, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Building Construction Technology or a related field and two years of experience in general building construction, building maintenance or repair work in one or more of the specialty trades* such as plumbing, electrical work, heating, ventilating and air conditioning installation, etc.

B) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and four years of experience in general building construction, building maintenance or repair work in one or more of the specialty trades* listed in (A);

SALARY RANGE:
$60,000.00 to $80,000.00 _(Based on experience)_

Pay:
$60, $80,000.00 per year
