The
Employers' Liability Insurance Association for Wood and Metal (BGHM) is one of the largest providers of statutory accident insurance in Germany and provides insurance coverage for around 5.4 million insured persons in more than companies in the two industries.

Our goal is to help people who are at risk due to working conditions or who have been affected by work accidents or occupational diseases.

The
IT organizations of BGHM and VBG work together in a joint operation (NOVA). The
NOVA aims to use current technologies securely and promptly, and to continuously develop and adapt IT solutions.

This includes the development of our own application systems as well as the adaptation and integration of various standard software products.

Short decision-making processes, independent work, and a good working atmosphere characterize NOVA and lead to success in working in interdisciplinary teams.

The
Main Department for Application Systems is divided into three departments and provides various applications that complement the two core systems CRM and ERP.

In addition to electronic mail and specialist applications, these include all services and applications that are necessary for communication and collaboration within and outside of a modern administration.

The Service department includes the Service Desk and Support as well as the central IT warehouse.
