JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE
As part of the Learning & Development team, the Learning & Development Clinical Training Specialist conducts training and performs training design, development, utilization, and evaluation of processes and resources for learning, primarily for clinical and case management training, including all levels of leadership and staff throughout the organization.
The Learning & Development Clinical Training Specialist shall develop courses and training materials such as teaching manuals and student guides, in close coordination with the Manager - Learning and Development as well as Program and Department leadership.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct training events and programs, both offtheshelf and developed inhouse, for organizational leadership and frontline employees (all levels), focusing on case management and clinical related topics
- Conduct needs assessments for various VOALA programs and departments
- Conduct learner analyses to match training materials to identified needs
- Design curricula and training materials to address identified needs
- Design and Development Tasks
- Develop instructional materials as directed
- Evaluate and assess instruction and its impact.
- Conduct organizationwide training events and programs
- Instructorled training
- TraintheTrainer
- Prepare Training materials, provides training logistics, prepare classroom or other training venues
- Other tasks as may be required to support organization's learning and development
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications
EDUCATION:
- Masters in Social Work (MSW) or Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT)
EXPERIENCE:
- Six Months of experience designing instruction or other similar role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with information in a database (e.g. data input, creating and running reports)
- Familiarity with social services and related issues
- Previous work with online training portals/systems
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Pay:
$83, $87,719.45 per year
