Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment.

This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues.

Duties:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: inspecting equipment, troubleshooting issues, and repairing or replacing defective parts
Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency
Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders, document repairs, and maintain accurate records
Fabricate or modify parts as needed using welding or other fabrication techniques
Supervise and coordinate contractors when necessary for specialized repairs or installations
Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring adequate supply levels are maintained
Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, such as painting, plumbing repairs, or carpentry work

Requirements:

Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including the ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot issues with logic controllers
Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and coordinate contractors when necessary
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor as required
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training is a plus
