Job Objective:

A brief overview of the position.- The Quality Data Analytics Analyst will work across the organization to support new and ongoing quality initiatives by delivering insightful interpretations of healthcare data.

The analyst is responsible for the accuracy, quality and completeness of all data and content, create reports, dashboards and deliver interpretive analyses, and look for ways to drive automation and efficiency.

This position's focus is to support the organization by providing insightful answers and enabling report consumers to make effective, data-driven decisions-

    Qualifications

Education- Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree, with a concentration in one of the following:


  • Computer Science
  • Statistics
  • Computer Information Systems
  • Data Analytics
  • Healthcare Administration/ Public Health/ Epidemiology
  • Data Science

Licensure/Certification- N/A


Experience- Required: Five (5) years of SQL experience with familiarity of concepts beyond querying (schema and ETL design, and query optimization).

  • Preferred: Experience with data mining tools, statistical analysis, and reporting tools
    Essential Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
  • Develops complex SQL queries, stored procedures, reports (standard and adhoc), dashboards, scorecards and KPIs to provide fast, accurate, and meaningful insight into heath system data.
  • Investigates and analyzes the numbers, assess business impacts, and make recommendations through use of healthcare analytics, predictive modeling, etc.
  • Plans and performs ongoing qualitative data analyses related to projects/programs, and identify opportunities to assemble qualitative data for storytelling to supporters and other stakeholders.
Conceptualizes, designs and develops data visualization solutions that synthesize data concepts into clear communications for key business stakeholders. Troubleshoots problems and questions. Reviews the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership. Holds weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones. Manages specialty program data (Sepsis, Stroke, NHSN, etc.) and registry data (NDNQI, Magnet, Q-Apps, etc.); ensures timely entry, accuracy and reporting of metric data to organizational stakeholders.- Performs other duties as assigned.
