Aon is looking for an Account Advisor II.


This is an opportunity to pioneer the Account Advisor II role, which will focus on retaining, renewing, and growing our accounts.

This is a hybrid position, located in our Fort Washington, PA office.

What the day will look like:
Manage book of commercial insurance accounts with complex business models and broad insurance needs
Responsible for underwriting, obtaining and servicing policies and meeting new business and retention goals
Learn program eligibility guidelines the team program(s) so that new business in addition to renewal submission can be qualified for acceptance or declination
Underwriting review of submissions including risk analysis, selection and pricing
Provide quick and consistent/accurate turnaround for all submissions
Provide customer support and assistance to direct clients and prospects to make recommendations and guide/education on products
A key component of the position will be timely and accurate delivery of new proposals to direct clients in an effort to hit growth targets
Montiors, tracks and follows-up on proposals to ensure customer satisfaction. Works with clients or Sales Advisors to provide coverage overviews and clarifications
Use sound judgement and independent thinking to achieve the maximum result within authority and state guidelines
Identify premium growth opportunities with current book by cross sell offering other coverage
Works with an assigned renewal/ new business territory within an established program
Able to follow procedures and investigate issues in order to solve problems
Sound judgement and decision making and explains reasons for decisions
Interact with underwriters during collaborative team calls about program strategy
Interact with underwriting manager on internal referrals and carrier partner for referral of risks to carrier partner that are beyond assigned authority for evaluation and consideration
May have extensive interaction with internal and external clients to identify, research and resolve problems
Manages daily work independently with check-ins with underwriting manager/ senior underwriter/ program lead
Skills and experience that will lead to success
3-5+ years managing a book of commercial insurance accounts
Experience with commercial insurance renewals, account growth, account retention, and servicing (endorsements, certifications, etc.)
Experience working with a broad mix of commercial insurance carriers and products
Enjoy serving customers and aim to beat their expectations every-single-time
Enjoy working on a team, but can also get it done on your own
You love technology as much as we do and can think outside the box


Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience


Required License:

Active Property and Casualty Insurance license; or will be required to take the licensing test and obtain the license within the first 3 months of employment
