We are currently seeking a
Job Coach with a background in grounds maintenance or landscaping to join our Mobile Grounds Team.

You will be supporting a small group (usually 1:3 ratio) of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at their work site.

The pay range for this position is $19.00-$19.40.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Ensuring completion of work tasks as required by the employer and/or established procedures
  • Providing ongoing training to participants throughout the workday as needed
  • Communicating effectively and professionally with employer and other employees at the work site
  • Demonstrating appropriate work behaviors at all times
  • Completion of electronic documentation prior to end of shifts

WHAT YOU NEED FOR SUCCESS

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid CA Driver's License with clean driving record
  • Immediate access to vehicle with working seatbelts to transport participants
  • Comfort driving a full size van with multiple passengers
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and move up to 75 lbs
  • High comfort in using multiple computer /mobile device programs
  • Ability to translate employer needs to individuals with disabilities
  • Willingness to adhere to dress and appearance standards

We'd love it if you:


  • Had 6 or more months of prior handson experience with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities
  • Landscaping or Grounds Maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of outdoor power equipment
  • Are multilingual (English, Spanish, Tagalog)
  • Have experience with electronic case management systems (Therap)
  • Have experience with individual service plans (goal development)
