- Conducting follow-up visits after initial assessments.
- Participating in weekly staffing and family sessions.
- Prescribing pharmacologic interventions as necessary.
- Reviewing laboratory and diagnostic test results.
- Consulting with attending psychiatrists and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to perform clinical assessments, adhering to psychiatric and medical nursing procedures.
- Communicating with patients, families, and others to obtain required information.
- Education & Licensure: Completion of a Master's Program (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner) from an accredited nursing school. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the State of Illinois.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting

As an NP at our hospital, you will work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to our patients. You will coordinate decision-making with the psychiatrist, perform clinical assessments, and develop treatment plans. Our team includes psychiatrists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, mental health technicians, social workers, therapists, and educators.
