The municipal Sports Office makes a significant contribution to this. It also serves as a service and interface for the extensive needs of sports in Glendale.

The Sports Facilities Department, with around 49 employees in the two departments of building construction and sports field construction/operation of sports facilities within the Sports Office, is responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, and repair as well as the conversion, new construction, and modernization of various sports facilities and facilities in the Glendale area. In the field of sports field construction, you will oversee a variety of projects, ranging from renovation measures such as replacing artificial turf surfaces and resurfacing of artificial surfaces to the conversion of, for example, clay courts to artificial or natural turf, to the complete construction of facilities including the necessary technical infrastructure.
