POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (TYPICAL):


Color Lab:


  • Prepare gallon paint samples and perform basic QC tests
  • Spray panels in laboratory environment to be used for testing or color evaluation
  • Perform basic color evaluation using various colorimeters
  • Stock materials in laboratory to support team productivity

General:


  • Utilize computer software programs to manage experimental data and complete basic job functions
  • Follow internal procedures regarding 5S, safety, compliance, etc.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR CERTIFICATION

  • High school diploma required.
  • Experience:
  • Technician: experience working in a chemical laboratory preferred.
  • Specialist: typically, 2+ years of applicable experience
  • Able to handle paints and chemicals, including isocyanates, using required PPE
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer Skills, office/word/excel
