$3.00 differential on top of the rate for nights.
All shifts are either 6am - 6pm OR 6pm - 6am
48 hour maximum work week - overtime available Schedules involve one rotating day
SUMMARY:
With supervision, sets up, operates and performs basic maintenance on a variety of specialized production and non-production equipment. May sort, load, unload, check and inspect. Keep necessary records, reports reject and failure patterns. Follow written, verbal and visual work instructions. Acts to maintain the integrity of processes and final product quality.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The ability to understand written, verbal and visual instructions
- The ability to perform accurate written and computer data entry (time, material, finish goods)
- Responds appropriately to system, process, or material problems
- Performs required inventory functions (e.g. inquiries, updates, transactions, certs)
- Follows SOP's & SOC's using correct materials and tools
- Performs required tasks for product changeover to Standard Work
- Setup machine
- Understands all job hazards, demonstrates safe behaviors
- Able to maintain clean work environment (housekeeping, 5S)
- Use of efficient time management skills to increase machine uptime
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED TRAINING:
- Lockout
- Basic hazardous communication
- PPE
- On the job safety review
- Continuous Skills Development Program
- Learn and perform entry level tasks (packaging, changeovers, housekeeping)
- Learn and perform Fabric or Structure Line operation through visual work instructions and structured hands on training
- Data entry (E1) for material use, finish good, time entries (run time and down time)
- Able to pass written and demonstrative test to advance as a Line Operator
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK:
- Continuous standing
- Frequent walking
- Frequent pushing/pulling
- Frequent upper extremity use
- Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.

From $19.00 per hour
