Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (
LPN) to join our healthcare team in Morley, NY.

As an
LPN, you will provide direct care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing patient health, administering medications, providing wound care, and assisting with diagnostic tests. Excellent communication skills and a strong dedication to patient care are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform routine nursing tasks, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and documenting patient information.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Assist with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Monitor patients' conditions and report any significant changes to the appropriate healthcare professional.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families on various health conditions, treatments, and medication management.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Prepare and operate medical equipment and assist with the implementation of medical/nursing interventions.
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and stay updated with the latest nursing techniques, procedures, and technology.

Qualifications and Skills:

Valid
LPN license in the state of New York.
Completion of an accredited
LPN program.
Proven experience as an
LPN in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compassionate and caring nature, with a commitment to delivering highquality patient care.
Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
Basic computer proficiency and ability to use electronic medical records systems.
