Position Summary
The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner collaborates with neonatologists to manage the healthcare needs of high-risk newborns at Children's Minnesota.
Responsibilities include overseeing the medical management of critically ill infants through expertise and evaluative tools across our levels IV, III, II, and step-down care units at our Minneapolis and St. Paul facilities with 171 combined beds.

License/Certification requirements:
Current MN RN License, Current MN APRN License, Current BLS Certification, Current NRP. Completion of an advanced training program and certification as a neonatal nurse practitioner by NCC. Preferably 2 years of experience in level III NNP with 500 Clinical Hours within the last three years.
Physician Assistant: MN Physician Assistant License. National Certification required by NCCPA. Current BLS certification. Strongly prefers 2 years of experience in level III NICU.
Must possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Uphold best practices in all work environments. Demonstrate flexibility.
