    LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) l Corrections

    • Pinckneyville, IL
    • 13-Week Contract
    • 8-hour Shifts
    • 3p-11p or 11pm-7am
    • Every other weekend

    Compensation:
    $55/hour blended rate



    Weekly travel stipend:
    $29/hr



    Weekly Taxable:
    $26/hr



    Job Overview:
    We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The perfect candidate will deliver quality nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being.


    Duties:

    • Conduct patient assessments and develop personalized care plans
    • Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
    • Assist with procedures like IV insertions, spinal taps, and ventilator management
    • Monitor patient vital signs and communicate any changes to the healthcare team
    • Offer patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
    • Record patient care activities in electronic health records (Epic)
    • Follow HIPAA regulations to preserve patient confidentiality


    Qualifications:

    • Should be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing
    • Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations
    • Experience in senior care, family planning, and patient assessment
    • Ability to perform basic life support measures during emergencies
    • Familiarity with electronic health records systems like Epic
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and healthcare team interaction
