Description
# Plans, organizes, and implements individual and group mental health therapy services for patients and families.#Candidates will complete#clinical intake assessments and comprehensive treatment plans. Reports to Clinical Manager. # Master#s degree in an accredited behavioral/social science field (e.g., Psychology, Counseling,#Social Work) from an accredited college or university. Must be fully or provisionally licensed or be license-eligible pending supervision.#Conduct individual and family therapy sessions with assigned clients using evidenced based treatments such as EMDR, CBT, MI, etc.
Complete all progress notes, assessments, and treatment plans in a timely fashion for each appointment. Treatment plans will show SMART goals and objectives.
Facilitate a variety of group therapies such as anger management, dual diagnosis, CBT skills, and/ or other evidence-base groups. Clinician must research and develop curriculum and complete notes for each attendee weekly.
Complete clinic intake assessments for clients accessing services for the first time
Staff with other lines of service to improve overall health as a multidisciplinary approach
Provide coverage for the crisis office in emergent or life-threatening situations
Obtain prior authorization for each client's payer source
Other job duties as assigned
