Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team.

As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support and care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses or other medical professionals.

Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, monitoring patient well-being, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.


Duties:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide basic nursing care, including taking vital signs and recording patient information
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment as needed
• Monitor patients' physical and emotional wellbeing, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
• Assist with medication administration under the direction of a nurse
• Perform basic medical procedures, such as wound care or catheterization, as trained and directed
• Provide support to patients with memory care needs
• Maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic health record systems (e.g., Axis Care)
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care delivery
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of a stateapproved nursing assistant training program
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Massachusetts
• Experience in spinal tap procedures and airway management is preferred
• Knowledge of memory care techniques is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Ability to provide compassionate and patientcentered care
• Proficiency in medical documentation and electronic health record systems
• Experience in home care or longterm care settings is desirable

Note:
All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Pay:
$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 56 per week
