Position Overview:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician at Resiliency Village plays a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our site.
From regular maintenance to repair projects, this position is essential for maintaining a welcoming and thriving environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance, cleaning, repairs, and improvements on all structures within the Resiliency Village property.
- Develop and adhere to maintenance schedules to ensure timely upkeep of facilities.
- Maintain the lawn, garden, and pool areas to uphold aesthetic standards and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors and external service providers for specialized repairs and services.
- Install and maintain equipment and appliances as needed.
- Keep detailed maintenance logs and expense records for accurate documentation.
- Perform any other duties necessary to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Resiliency Village facility.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and other relevant crafts.
- Strong problemsolving abilities to address maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
- Competence in utilizing a wide range of tools, including hand tools, electric tools, power tools, and equipment.
- Adherence to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and contractors.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Recordkeeping skills to maintain accurate maintenance logs and expense records.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance worker, preferably in the building trades or similar field.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Parttime (20 hours per week).
- Compensation: $2530 per hour, based on experience.
