- Manage Meeting Space, Lounge and Catering Sales
- Adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures
- Celebrate successes and publicly recognizes the contributions of team members
- Up-sell products and services throughout the event process
- Participate in customer site inspections and assists with the sales process when needed
- Act as liaison between the Operations Team and client throughout the event process
- Review billing and payments with event clients.
- Handle guest problems and complaints with Director of Sales and Assistant General Manager.
- Greet client during the event phase and hand-off to the operations team for the execution of details
- Strive to improve service performance.
- Set a positive example for guest relations
- Coordinate and communicate verbally and in writing with customer (internal and external) regarding event details
- Work with Director of Sales and Food Beverage to enhance and catering opportunities

- Minimum 4 years of Food and Beverage experience.
- Must be proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, occasionally including nights, holidays & weekends.
- High school degree (or equivalency) with Hotel/College training preferred.
- Previous Restaurant, Function Hall, Country Club Sales or Hotel Food and Beverage experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of banquet revenue generation

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, event management software and customer management platform

Job Description:
REPORTS TO:
Director of Sales
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reach and or exceed assigned Food and Beverage Revenue, sales call activity goals, and manage assigned action plans.
Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed Food and Beverage revenue goals. This will consist of telephone communication, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
Responsible for consistent and ongoing prospecting for and capturing new business via leads generated through personal sales effort to identify new sources of business.
Qualify leads and prospects gained from cold calls, telemarketing, newspapers, referrals sales blitzes, brand sales leads, nationals sales office leads, local leads and other sources.
Represent the hotel at trade shows, industry events, networking events and other opportunities to drive awareness and generate new bookings.
Responsible for all efforts at the front desk, including scheduling, training, guest service initiatives, coordinating all communication from and to the front desk between all departments.
