QinetiQ US is currently seeking a Budget/ Financial Analyst to support budget and financial management efforts within the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)
Specific tasks will include:
Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis on financial and budgetary trends impacting the office.
- Assist in developing and monitoring metrics to track the effectiveness and progress of programs.
- Monitor program execution to ensure alignment with DoD Comptroller Obligation and Expenditure benchmarks.
- Prepare various documents and briefings for review and use by senior DoD leaders.
- Assist in the development of required DoD PPBE process documentation, including RDT&E Descriptive Summaries, Budget Issue Papers, and Program Decision Memorandums.
- Assist in identifying efficiencies and process improvements to enhance mission and cost effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Secret clearance required. #qinetiqclearedjob
- 5 years related experience required.
- Must have experience with drafting and submitting Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR)
- DD448s, DD4482s, adjudicating unliquidated obligations (ULOs), and processing General Terms and Conditions documents
- DoD Form 7600.
- 3+ years of DoD financial management experience required with 2+ years experience work with/in Defense Agency Initiative (DAI)
