    1. At least five years of experience as a teacher or child study team member, or a current administrator with relevant experience
    2. Supervisor certification
    3. Master's Degree
    4. Experience using IEP and/or intervention based software programs
    5. Experience planning and delivering professional development
    6. Experience with writing IEP/intervention goals, data collection/analysis, and corresponding progress monitoring and reporting
    7. Experience with supporting teachers in the development of IEP/intervention plans
    8. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
    9. Experience with assistive technology platforms
    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. Responsible for staff supervision and evaluation.
    2. Support teachers in the review of student (both general education and special education) assessment and evaluation data in order to develop relevant intervention and special education services.
    3. Support special education and intervention teachers in the development of targeted instruction based on research and best practices.
    4. Collaborate with the Director of Educational Services, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, and building level administrators to ensure effective data analysis and corresponding intervention/special education planning.
    5. Support intervention and child study teams to ensure effective supports are in place for students and teachers.
    6. Plan, prepare, and deliver professional development to support district and building level initiatives.
    7. Collaborate with the district curriculum and educational services teams to ensure that instruction and instructional practices align with the district mission and vision.
    8. Complete required reports and other assignments specific to special education and intervention promptly, comprehensively, and accurately.
    9. Attend local, regional, and state meetings, as assigned.
    10. In collaboration with district and building administration, screens candidates, conducts interviews, and recommends candidates for employment.
    11. Perform such other tasks and other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Educational Services and Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction.
