- Monmouth ACTS is a collaboration between County government and community organizations to enhance human services in Monmouth County.
- We are looking for Social Workers to run the warm line and carry out the following tasks:
- Answers the Warm Line in a supportive manner that fosters hope and resilience in residents.
- Assesses residents' social service needs over the phone.
- Provides emotional support and information on available resources.
- Connects residents with public and non-profit human services.
- Refers callers to crisis intervention services when needed.
- Informs residents about Monmouth Resource Net.
- Attends community events and meetings.
- Establishes relationships with organizations serving Monmouth County residents.
- Represents the Department of Human Services at various events.
- Prepare reports and documents as necessary.
- Participates in ACTS meetings and familiarizes with service systems.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in service delivery or organization required.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field required.
- Valid New Jersey driver's license needed.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of social case work theory and human services programs.
- Ability to prepare clear and informative reports.
- Must be able to work on-site.
