You will support and advise customers in the development of secure access solutions and provide recommendations for protecting IT systems
You will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of firewalls
You will create, review, and update firewall rules to ensure a robust security infrastructure based on customer requirements
You will coordinate and monitor implementation measures by external service providers to ensure compliance with standards
You will document security rules and concepts in Excel or customer-specific systems
You will effectively communicate and collaborate with various departments and external partners to understand and implement security-related requirements

You have successfully completed a specialized vocational training or a degree in computer science/IT/IT security
You have at least 2 years of experience in firewall administration and configuration, preferably with different manufacturers, especially Palo Alto
You have good technical IT knowledge and good network knowledge (TCP/IP, IP networks, routing, security)
You ideally have certifications in the field of network security (e.g. Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) and/or experience with other security technologies such as VPNs, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
