Description
ZACHRY is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Worker for Maintenance at BASF Port Arthur, located in Port Arthur, TX. Per Diem is not offered.Pull and Issue Reservations.
Unload freight trucks and sign for deliveries.
Assist customers that walk up to the Stores Window.
Escort all persons through the Warehouse. This includes walking people to the Tool Room and assisting them in finding parts.
Put away stock that is received into inventory. Items must be logged on the Daily Stock Report.
Inventory, order, and stock needed items in Zone Stores.
Conduct daily cycle counts.
Pick up any material that is to be shipped out or returned to stock from requestor.
Prepare materials to ship in a safe manner. Utilizing banding machine, pallets, etc.
Deliver material to the plant. Deliveries will be made in a timely manner. Air packages are to be delivered as soon as they are checked in.
Utilize scanner device to PMI alloy materials for QA/Mechanical Integrity.
General Housekeeping of all Stores warehouses. This includes Zone Stores, Drum Yard, CP and LP warehouses and the outside area surrounding Stores.
Receive material in SAP after verification of correct item received.
Fill out discrepancy reports for incorrect or duplicated material received against a PO.
Notify Maintenance or responsible party on all items that are received that require inspection.
Filing:
packing slips and any other documents, as required.
Keep forklifts full of gas/diesel, Conduct daily inspections on forklifts.
Sample dikes when water has collected in them. Once passing test results are received, drain the dikes and lock once they are finished draining.
Participate in audits, as required.
Assist in any other area that is requested by the supervisor or team lead.
Positions Roles & Responsibilities:
Performs Goods Receipts using SAP. Inspects all incoming materials and reconciles purchase orders, materials and vendor packing lists.
Utilize forklift when needed to safely load and offload materials.
Utilize scanner device to PMI alloy materials for QA/Mechanical Integrity.
Reports, documents, and tracks discrepant receivables.
Ensure required materials are properly inspected by appropriate party.
Contact and coordinate discrepant receipts with Buyers and Vendors
Label, stage, and stock materials to proper locations
Assist customers with parts and materials needs.
Pull materials for customers requested by reservation.
Perform Goods Issues for material reservations.
Coordinate material deliveries throughout plant
Preforms daily cycle counts and reconcile differences to ensure inventory accuracy.
Prepare materials and shipping documents for outboard shipments.

Skill Sets
Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment including overhead jib crane, small hand tools.
Knowledge of standard warehouse procedures
SAP MM module experience preferred.
Microsoft Office
- Outlook, Excel, and Word
Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of sitting.
Will talk and hear to communicate.
Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls and tools.
May be required to lift, carry, and move up to 50lbs.
Must be able to pass a visual acuity assessment.
Must be able to use fingers, hands, arms, legs, and feet in precise coordinated movements.
Must have good dexterity in fingers, arms, legs, hands, and feet.
Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and leather work boots.
