- Provide safe and efficient door-to-door transportation for passengers
- Ensure passengers are properly secured and provide assistance with all entries and exits
- Greet passengers, accept fare payment, and maintain a safe environment
- Operate vehicle safely and within traffic laws
- Properly report all incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Follow an assigned route, but must be able to adjust to schedule changes
- Other duties as required
- Be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Have a valid driver's license
- Pass a full pre-employment physical examination certifying they are physically capable of doing the job
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- Have no felony offenses
- Have received no more than two moving violations for each year of the last three (3) years prior to application for this program.
- Have five full subsequent years with no violations, if license has ever been revoked.
